Who we are...
The Fort Stewart Roller Girls are a women's flat-track roller derby league based in Hinesville, Georgia. Besides sharing our love for our sport, our mission is to inspire self-confidence in women, promote teamwork, and foster athletic ability within a culture of integration, encouragement, and service to our local community. Our members are both military and civilian and range in age from 23 to 45. We are a diverse group that includes artists, teachers, soldiers, entrepreneurs, and stay-at-home moms, just to name a few. Some of us have been skating for several years while others are just learning. Although we are a women-only team, men are welcome to join our league as Referees or Non-Skating Officials (no previous experience required).
Skate with us!
The Fort Stewart Roller Girls host a two-hour long open practice the last Sunday of every month at Corkan Family Fun Center on Fort Stewart. Skaters of all skill levels are welcome to join us, as are those affiliated with other leagues. Skate rental is available for a small fee and protective gear may be borrowed on a first-come first-served basis (skaters must, however, provide their own mouth guard). Skaters should be in full gear and ready to begin practice at 6:30 p.m. Please bring your ID with you so that we may verify that you are over 18 years old. For more information, please contact us through our facebook page,
